Either a Kit or a pre-constructed Alternating Current 60Hz, 120V Constant Current driver
for 1-2 Power LEDs. (4 Watt's total say, at ~3.4V)

I've searched the forums and I've not found many places that sell these at a reasonable price. ($15 US)

Ideally it would also have voltage or current dimming capabilities as well. (Not PWM)

What you recommend?

To use LED directly from AC (110V or 220), the simple and quite good way is to use capacitor and resistor :

Remarks :

1. The value of capacitor control the current.
2. The value of the resistor control the in-rush current. Not too high R to dissapate too much heat.
3. If single LED is used, the 2nd LED must be replaced with a diode (1N4001 is ok) to prevent high reverse voltage which will cook the LED.
4. More pair of LED can be in series as long as the total LED driving voltage is below the AC input with >20% voltage margin for current limitation.
