Hey all... I was just now re-looking at getting myself a nice bright green laser pointer. A few years back I looked at them but they were way too expensive. Any reccomendations on a good bright 5mw (brightest as they can be without permit right?) laser? As inexpensive as possible would also be a big +. I found this one at laserguy and it seems to be a nice inexpensive laser. Any input would be greatly appreciated to help me make a wiser investment.

Thank You!

Having delt with dwight the laserguy at laser tech1 1(I believe it the same laserguy). suggest you do a search on him in cheers & jeers and the led & laser section and see what experience I and others have had with him. GOOD LUCK! IF YOU DEAL WITH DWIGHT YOU WILL NEED IT! RON

Several of us in the local astronomy club are very satisfied with these. http://www.skypointer.net/
Howie Glatter stands behind his lasers and is nice to deal with. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Paid $179 from zbolt. Service was great and the laser was really awesome. However, that is the only green laser pointer I've purchased, so wouldn't be able to comment on brightness. Also, it was a gift, so I no longer have it to comment on durability.
