solarforce not working

this is one of my brightest lights, and if there is a 3 way tie for my brightest light, then this one at lease excells in the fact that it is the most beautiful beam. nice hotspot, smooth blend to spill, very bright.

however, lately i put in those 4 rcrs and it's lighting up to maybe 1/2 of a lumen. i see the led's fire up, just barely. it's almost a 600 lumen light so obviously something is amiss.

anyone else have this problem or know what it might be?
i haven't fired it up in a while but it worked fine a month ago.
all four batteries are fully charged.
i've tried both switches that came with it, the twisty and the multilevel.
both 1/2 of a lumen

should i try to sell it or might it be an easy fix? :tinfoil:

That flashlight didn't even last 3 months.

Check the led driver circuit to see if it's faulty. Any visual sign or acrid smell of burnt transistors or resistors?
Check the batteries individually under a 1 amp resistive load to see if one or more of those rechargeable cells is the culprit.
