Better: ArcMania Super MJ LED or SMJLED2

I also posted this is the MOD section, but I thought I would ask here too.

I need a drop in LED bulb for my PT Solo headlamp.

I have not found any reviews comparing the ArcMania Super MJ LED from lighthound with the SMJLED2 from the Sandwich Shoppe.

I am wondering which of these units is superior in terms of light output/brightness.

Run time isn't the most important thing to me, I need the most usable light for night search and rescue.

One reason why you are not getting a reply is most of us bought our bulbs over 2 years ago and there are indications both suppliers are not shipping the same bulb they used to.

Note old one is very cool white, the new one has a distinct green tint.
My Sandwich Shoppe one is very yellow, almost an incan tint compared to the old lighthound one (beamshot on left) and dimmer.

All versions of the SMJLED focus well as drop ins but also have very narrow beams, very tiny hotspots. It is not really that bright either for outdoor use. I suggest looking at a 1W or 3W LED headlamp. Wider beam, much stronger spill. Even then I'm not sure it is bright enough for SAR.
