i just finished laser engraving and got home
will update tomorrow at work with new picture.

low is 300~330mA ; high is 900mA
this is just for 6V lantern battery usage.
light head is water proof
but the hook/neck is mere splash proof.

runtime (continuous test with fresh 6v, Rocket)

low : 17 hours and go off without any alert.

high :
- 8 hours run at high mode
- and drop to level of low mode and last for 3-4 hours
- and drop to lowest brightness. (we know the 5% mode of typical 3watt flashlight recently.) and run another 10 hours (or more)
- and well....it never died
- so i trash the battery and stop test.

warren,

forgot one tip....

One can install LumaPower D-mini Bezel and it fits Angler's body (although the stem(neck) of Angler is not strong for the heavier weight.)

also... you will need a self made insulation shield
to prevent the shot circuit between
the exposed XR-E's leadframe and D-mini's metal reflector.

warren,

Thanks for posting the sales thread. This looks like a really interesting light concept, unfortunately just not $50 interesting. :shakehead
