If you have never held any of Chris' work in your hand, its hard to understand. In addition, you can play (somewhat complicated) lego with this light and many Surefire E-series, TNC SF series, and Aleph series parts.

what is approximate output in lumens ?

I assume that's HA Nat Aluminum body ?

I don't have a way to accurately measure light output. Its damn bright. Yes, the body is made of aluminum and hard anodized with the natural (undyed) color.

X bins are spec'd at 200-250lm at a current of 700ma. This light drives the LED at 750ma, so there's the best answer I can give you.
