You probably either burned the bulb with too much voltage(10.8 vs. the 9 used in the video)(what is the max voltage for that bulb?) or you have bad cells. If after checking these you find no prob. check all contacts/electrical paths. Thats all the poss. I can see.

Doesn't this melt that cheapo plastic zinc-carb container some people call a flashlight?

i used the 7.2 volt(6 d version) and it now works....no it won't melt it, atleast not the light i used

I tried this on 2 18650 cells and after 15 minutes constant on time the bulb burned out.

Stock up on bulbs.
