Got a 4D Mag. Had 4 D cell no name brand heavy duty inside. Had light sitting unused for a few hours on table. Touched the body and noticed it was warm. A similar Mag sitting beside it with no batteries felt cold to the touch.
Took out the batteries and at least one was leaking what looked like white fluid. Had to clean the insides of the Mag.
At least it wasn't a lithium that vents with flame!
