I was just in the shop at work when I saw an electronics magazine. On the front cover it invited me to check out this awesome flashlight made with power-LEDs that could also be mounted to a bike. I thought 'wow' and had to check it out. The magazine was dated June 2008, so I expected something good, and yes, it used a multi-emitter array of state-of-the-art Luxeon I emitters :eek:oo:

Some things are just so backwards in the UK.

Nope. It's the same in the States.

Most LED flashlights are toys.

Most flashlights, television shows, restaurants, movies, land wars in Asia, dentists, bosses, pocket knives, politicians, pop songs, and computer programs are absolute junk with no good reason to exist. But since most people haven't seen better, they get excited about things that just leave me scratching my head.

Just one man's opinion (I'm right, though).
