I've seen the review on the 2X123A version, but I like 1X123A lights to use with RCR123 batteries.

Anyone here own the 1 cell version?

Will it take 3.6V RCR123's?

TIA.

Well, it is not exactly a popular light, although I really like the two cell version. I really think it is too easily overlooked in a world dominated by other manufacturers.

i own both the 1xCR123A and 2xCR123A versions. don't know the ans. to your ques, though. i use primaries in it.

if you're gonna' purchase one, be sure to buy it online through the Coleman website "Family Store" link (login in the password FAMILY). from the Coleman website home page, click the "Web Store" link to the upper left, then click the "Family Store" link just above the "Hunting" category link. now that you're logged in, click the "Coleman eXponent" link, and then click "Coleman eXponent Lighting". you'll see, among others, both of the "Lithium" flashlights. the 1xCR123A goes for only $30.09 (instead of $59.99) and the 2xCR123A goes for only $35.12 (instead of $69.99).

also, i've posted a bit on these two lights, particularly the 1xCR123A here: https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/198341 (just scroll down to my Posts, or search the webpage for my alias/screen-name.

hope this info proves useful to you.
