I have a 2c with a drop in heatsink and a ssc p4. I was just playing around and put on an aluminum MOP reflector. The positive and negative on the led must have short circuited when the metal reflector passed by while I was focusing. The light will not turn on know.

Whats my first step??

I think most of us have had that happen. We turn the light off within a couple of seconds, screw the reflector out and the light will come back on.

What battery package and driver do you have?

I actually figured out that I blew the driver. I was using a DX driver that was 8 modes with an input of 3.6~8.4. Luckily it came in a two pack. I was running two 18650's in it.

I put the other driver in for now and I ordered a 5 mode with a 3 second memory. The 8 mode memory was like 20 seconds which means you have to cycle all the way though to get back to High.
