I have a DLP projector that i have not used in a while because the bulb has burned out and I have moved a few times and just never got around to messing with it. It has a 2000 lumen bulb and I was wondering if it is possible to use a LED solution instead? (DIY)

In a word, No. It is not a 2000 lumen bulb, it is a 2000 lumen projector..... likely about a 15,000 lumen - point source - bulb.

Oh yes indeed.

As far back as overhead projectors and slide projectors, the joke has always been that a $500 machine has a $450 bulb in it.

Which is only a slight exaggeration...
