small UCL aspheric

I'm looking to do an MC-E mod. Got most the parts planned out, and I'm happy with everything but my lens. Currently it's going to be one of these too close to the LED (not at the focal point- defocussed for a nice, floodier beam) with a UCL/LDF window from www.flashlightlens.com in front of that for a perfectly smooth beam. However, the DX lens isn't high quality, certainly isn't UCL, and I was wondering if there is anything more appropriate for max. OTF lumens.

Thing about the DX lens is the size is great- a mag aspheric at ~52mm is far too big.

Anyone? Would it be possible to get the DX lens AR coated at all?

I think Surplus Shed or similar is going to be the best set.Many of their optics are overstock,surplus,etc.,coated but still a reasonable price.

You can buy them new,but the coating alone is like $40.00.
