Flashlight wall mounting brackets

I'm looking for some Mag C and D wall mounting brackets (clamps). Anyone have any experience with these?

Are there better solutions out there? Some reviews mention that these tend to clamp unnecessarily tight.

If you are a law enforcement officer, then you probably won't care about the next question, but do they wear off the anodizing?

No, they dont. I am using those for over 15 years now on two of my mags. The anodizing is much harder than plastics ;-)

For stationary use (e.g. not in a vehicle), one of those brackets holds a light just fine. Easier to snap the light in and out of, too.

I have one of these brackets screwed into my nightstand drawer so the light doesn't roll around.
