Can this SF be LED-upgraded?

It looks like an E1 of unknown vintage. Does anyone know how old it might be and whether it can be upgraded to an LED emitter? Thanks. Oh, what would one of these be worth used?

Koala makes LED tower modules using a "Rebel" emitter.

Your other option is to pick up an (older) KL1 or a (newer) KX1. They are significantly brighter and also offer longer runtime.

Is the KX1 available in that gun-metal type finish? I've only ever seen it in gray.

Unfortunately no. The LED heads only come with the olive drab green finish (HA). There are no satin finish heads.

OK, thanks... I can buy this little light locally for a pretty good price but after factoring in the $60+ for the KX1 and the fact it won't match the light's finish I figured it's not worth it... might as well buy a new E1 for a few bucks more.
