Apologies if this has been suggested before and if it's in the wrong section, moderators, please feel free to relocate.

Some of my lights are a tad slippy especially when used in the rain.

My solution was to use pieces of bicycle inner tube, cut to length, to form a rubber sleeve around the light.

Not original I know, I've seen this mentioned before, but a recent puncture gave me the opportunity to try it and it really does work.

I tend to leave the "head" bare so as not to increase heat retention, hope this helps some folks out, cheers....:twothumbs

lol yea i've seen the bike tube around before, u should probably search shrink tubes also, me personally, i perfer gapher tape, its got a good texture to me, and i dont use mines in the rain so its good enough for me, and the tape doesnt leave any sticky residue!

some people use big O-rings too..

Just remember to turn the inside out on the inner tube, its smooth on the inside, still grippy.
