I was beating the leaking batteries out of mine last week. I was thinking that it would make a great host for a SSC P7 or Cree MC-E since it's SO HEAVY. It's not in the best shape, but there is plenty of AL there to send it to a machinist to have it turned down ans anodized (remove the rubber grip). Maybe you would be interested in working with it?

I've got two sets of Nexstars (2C, 2AA, 1AA) but at the moment I can only find both 2C and both 2AA. Sent me a PM with your address and I'll ship whichever ones you want this Saturday. They're all in as-new condition.
