I have been asked about doing clickies in people's tailcaps...
I charge $40.00 to modify yours to a reverse clicky with a
single or 2-mode switch. The 2nd mode is for a resistor to
use the light on low.. Just let me know what resistor you
want to use, or send it to me with the End Cap.
In order for me to do this, i need "Your" Cap :) So you have
to send it to "ME" to modify. The battery spring is a custom
one like you see in the pictures below. If you have a spring
that you want me to use, just send it with the cap. Since i
am not using the stock spring perch where it makes contact
in the cap (the little un-anodized ring), I will be cutting down
any springs that are made to fit in that perch. I will solder
the spring to the switch directly, so there are no loose
connections to worry about. The whole assembly will have
to be epoxied in the cap, just like the picture. I dont have a
lathe to turn down the cap and do threads in there for a
removable switch cavity.. So the switch is permanently
installed, But the button "IS" removable for changing :)
The Quick-Clip is an extra option.. PM me for details.

I have here, A nice mod that i started awhile back..
But that thread dissapeared? :poof:

So without further Adoo:

You should sell these tailcaps alone for C and D mags!

COOL :D

If it is of any importance my Mag is a 2D Mag 74 running on 7 Eneloops and uses the stock side switch oh and the tailspring will need to be a little stiff. So I suppose the main switch would have to be left on for the tail switch to work. Also, if the main stock is off would that control the tail glow like an on and off switch?

Because that would be sweet! Don't think I'd need the belt clippie, less work for you.

Hi, great mod...

Can the flashlight use a different battery configuration to put 2.4ma to the Led?

How much can your charge to make this mod to the tailcap???

If the main switch is off, then nothing will work :)
If you wanted the main switch to control the light, then you will have
to turn on the tailswitch, thus turning off the little led behind the button.

I have lots of mag springs to play with :twothumbs so a "Stiff" one is doable
No clippie is okay  But since i don't have any extra tailcaps, i need
yours :poke:

I havent figured out a price yet..
And yes, you can use different configurations with
a 2.4mA backlit button, Within reason of course.
What kind of voltage range are you thinking?
