Hello!

I have for sale an Arc 4+ in excellent condition modded by CPF member
koala with a Seoul U2SVOH emitter. This emitter is the most efficient
SSC P4 currently available, and the SVO bin has a slightly warm, creamy
tint: very similar beam to the original luxeon, but with 2-3 times the light output.
The lens has been replaced with a UCL version but I have the
original Lexan one, as well as a pair of headless hex screws to fill the holes on the side if you prefer it without the clip.

Yes its the same light, but there is nothing wrong with it!

I just wanted to know, this flickering is a kind of extra feature wich
allows me to find that Arc 4+ in the dark...

No "hijacking" here. It was an honest question. I have no "beefs". I just was most confused about the presentation. Most sorry for any difficulties I may have created. I am an avid collector of many lights and I regard the Arc4+ to be one of the most attractive and, as well, a historical point in flashlight development. I have five Arc4+s but none modded and wanted to know something about your posts was all that was intended. Again, most sorry....

To explain the flicker:

the light flickers when it is off as a locator beacon so you can find it in the dark.
It is a design feature, and the only way I know to turn it off is
to take the battery out or unscrew the battery tube, which you would do
if you were putting it into storage. It uses very little current - many
months of no use before the battery runs down.

You can turn off the beacon through the ui if you wish to, it is not permanent.

If you have an Arc4+ you should know what it is, otherwise you have never played with your shelf queen.
Please see this ARC 4 Instruction manual it's called locator flash, to turn it on or off.
