IR LED\'s on ebay

Are the IR LED's offered by this vendor on e-bay worth the money. I would like to make a small IR device for using with night vison equipment.

The Ebay LEDs look interesting, but they don't specify the wavelength. So they could range from 808nm to at least 1000nm. Mike's 20-LED IR adapter is probably what you want (it can be used in the 3-D Maglite, or any other source of 4.5 volts DC you happen to have handy), but that would depend on the frequency response of your night vision equipment.
