Arc LSH - P runtimes ?

OK, let me see if ai have this right.

The LS will run for about 2 hours on a 123 batt. ?

And about 4 hours on 2-AA's?

What about 2 rechargable AA's. Rated at 1800 miliamps each?

I LOVE this light, but want something that is going to give really good runtime. And I kinda dont want to add the longer 2_AA tail. For a backup light, the 123's 2 hours isnt that bad, but I plan on also using the hell out of this light on a daily bases. Im betting you guys will tell me to get the single or double AA tail, and take spare batts... but I just wanted to get all of your expert opinions. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Are the single AA tails still around? What is the runtime for a single AA, both rechargable and alki. ?

It seems that rechargables are the way to go. They get almost 3 hours out of the 2-AA tail.

Does that mean I would get 1.5 hours out of the single AA tail?

No. A single AA 1.5 V has to be stepped up to 3? Volts and deliver 350 to 400maH. While two can do it, one can't (for very long).
