Does anyone else think that its crazy to be buying lights with the current economic situation? I just paid for a Ra Clicky and now I think I'm going to have to pay another fee before I will get my light... an overdraft fee... I'm broke! I'LL HAVE MY CLICKY SOON THOUGH!

:paypal:

Please hurry Henry!

I think it's amazing that in ANY economy, even frivolous hobbies like flashlights don't take a break.

The current economic situation within the country is one thing. Yes, crazy is a good word.

Failure to control individual spending habits is in part some of the reasons why the Country is having these financial gyrations. People need to re-think their financial strategies. Develop and work within a realistic house budget which reflexs your income sources. A solid budget will eventually lead to those things a person desires, while insuring that the person recieves those things they need as well.

A budgeted expenditure costs less and is a lot less stessful than an unbudgeted expenditure. Enjoy your clicky.

No use going into a famine without some good flashlights/torches. You have stocked up on food haven't you?
Don't forget to stock up on batteries also.

Good advice BRO.

Unfortunatley the Gov't is gonna try and spend its way out of this mess. Kinda like when an individual charges $20,000 on credit cards and then to get the creditors off his back he borrows $20,000 from a loan shark then goes to the casino and loses it all. A great plan for sure. So in following the great wisdom of the MESSIAH , if you are now broke don't worry just go buy ANOTHER flashlight to go with the RA and somehow it will all magically work out because "Together We Can"!!

Don't worry Zack, it will be worth the wait when it shows up :twothumbs I know for a fact that you are gonna love the tint on that warmie you just ordered. It just might take over the EDC role that your Lunalsol20 has command of currently. If not, I am sure you will have both in pocket at all times :p

Give me a call bro, we need to catch up on things!

My current ecomonic situation has always been the same. It's good to see the rest of the world finally catching me up. :)

Purposely overdrafting to buy a non-necessity item is one of the dumbest money moves you can make, maybe you should ditch your checking account and credit cards and start using cash, you'll be amazed on how little you can get by on if you have to.

I totally agree with Scott's post, I haven't borrowed money for more than 20 years and have never been happier, learn to pay upfront even if it means waiting and saving.

Yeah.

I read Grapes of Wrath. If you're going to pack up family and belongings on a truck and drive west, You'll need a good flashlight for when you break down in the middle of the desert.

No use going into a famine without some good flashlights/torches.
Don't forget to stock up on batteries also.

I think we will all face the Depression better with humor and with flashlights.

I want a nice flashlight, but I'm settling for a cheap-o KD light and am going to mod it to a nice flashlight with what I have. I used to be into car forward lighting as a hobby, but that's too expensive and shortcuts in that field can be life-threatening.

It is good to hear from others with similar situations! As for the only use cash advice... I do not have a credit card (never have), and it is times like this that make me really happy to be the only one I know without one.

I did receive an overdraft fee, but even with the extra 35 bucks this venture was definitely worth it! Still no warm Clicky in my hands but I have faith that Henry will come through!

It always amazed me that banks charge you money for not having any money!

Strauss man, I wish I was in the burgh! There aren't any dark caves in Baltimore. The best I can do is explore abandoned buildings, or shut myself in the bathroom... We definitely do need to catch up. I'll get at you when I've got a minute.

to everyone else: As mentioned earlier, our president has decided to spend our way out of this mess so may everyone else do the same. Buy all the lights your hearts desire!:caution::caution::caution::caution:

I bought a Ra Clicky even though I didnt need it. Its rapidly becoming a favourite light.

I suppose its at least spending money on an asset, if things get tight you/I can always sell them. :mecry:

Enjoy your Clicky I am enjoying mine!

How long does it take Henry to get your lights out? I am going on two weeks with no money and no light! How much longer should I wait before becoming inpatient? I've already waited 3 years plus... whats another week (or two as it seems it might be)... Henry Please send my light soon! Every day I come home to see no package waiting for me. Its disappointing. :sigh:
