I dont know. I have 7 800 mAh cr 123 size batteries. NiCd though. =\ If I could find some NiMh, would they work in an Arc LS?

I use two if the "1/5A" size NiMH cells (400mAh each) instead of a CR123 in my Arc LS and they work fine. Each set gives me between 40 and 60 minutes of use before needing recharge.

One NiMH/NiCd Cell has unfortunately not enough voltage for an Arc LS2.

I have some rubber hose that I put between the tip of the battery and the + side of the charger. I then run a bit of wire from the + side of the cell to the + side of the charger. Not pretty, but it works.

Thomas-
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! How can genius be so simple?
I will be making one change - encasing them in tubing or shrink wrap.
