I want to build a color LED lamp but I have some questions. Circuit design is not beyond my comprehension (networking/computer professional) but it is beyond my experience. The design goals include rediculous brightness, ability to plug it into my 220 wall outlet, and simple design. The plan is to use an external 12V or so DC adapter connected to a BuckPuck 3021 or 3023 and some LEDEngin 10W LEDs (possibly 1 or 2 40W cool white for that spectrum).

Anyway, along to my question. I was tinkering with the LED array wizard (http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz) and got to wondering; do I still need all those resistors if I'm using the BuckPuck?
