Hello folks,

Up for sale is a Mint condition SunDrop XR-U. Never been carried, has wonderful machining and is in tip-top shape. The machining lines seem finer than on my old LS20. There's nary a blemish I can see, even on the clip.

This 3-speed, high-CRI titanium clicky light can be yours for $440 $435 $430 $420 $410 $400 $390 $380 SOLD! =) First I'll take it, takes it. Thanks.

Re: FS: Mint condition SunDrop XR-U

Hey! Still diggin' my Haiku. I absolutely love it!

I don't know much about the XRU model. Is it a flood or a thrower? Lumens? rcrs AND primaries? How does it compare to the Haiku?

Dan

PS - anyone considering buying this light will get nothing but the best service from this seller... I know I did. Buy with total confidence!:twothumbs

Re: FS: Mint condition SunDrop XR-U

The XR-U is a floody light but tighter flood than the Mule, which is why I like it =) The haiku is a different beast, hotspot and throw. The XR-U is great because it's easy on your eyes and frankly when you're using it, you forget that you're even using a flashlight at all, it just feels really natural and you're just illuminating things without squinting from a hotspot.

I'm pretty sure you can run RCR's in it. The lumens output is about 64 on high according to McGizmo - doesn't sound like much but actually because it's directed into a more concentrated flood (as compared with wide spillbeam of most other reflectored lights), it's awesome indoors, and really good outdoors too (for instance, I just used it in the rain last night for several minutes, outside! didn't really have need for more light as I wasn't doing long-distance spotting).

Thanks for the post djans! =)

You're killing me, but I can't swing it just before Christmas. Fancy trading it for a sizable discount on a PD-S27?
