What do you do after your battery(s) reach the point where they are not at 100%. An example would be with my E1B the light will only come on in the low mode. At this point I put in fresh batteries and have been saving the batteries that are partially depleted for an emergency (extended power outage).

Do you keep your batteries that are partially depleted?

Certainly, I can usually put the depleted cells into another light and use them till they are all gone (usually a 1 cell light to prevent any mishaps)

Canada, eh?
I wrap electrical tape over the contacts of my depleted cells, keeping them in pairs or singles depending how how they were used. I then chuck them in a plastic bin in case of an emergency where I don't mind running them all the way down. At some point when I get enough I'll probably recycle them.
