As title really, will the Eagletac P20A2 take two 3.7v 14500's? I know it is a 2 x AA light so theoretically 3v and 2 x 14500 = nominal 7.2v but Eagletac also do the P20C2 which will take 2 li-ion rechargeables. As the lights are identical in all other respects I am wondering if the head is the same on both and I can get more out of my AA version?

Any know to save me a potential :poof:?

thanks,

Olef

Hi Olef,
Do not use two 14500 batteries, the P20A2 cannot handle the extra voltage! :poof:
You can use two AA batteries (also compatible with rechargeable or 1.5V lithium's). Do not go over 3v!

You can only use 2 x 14500 on a P20C2 head. You can put it on your P20A2 body.

That is if ET didn't change anything from before.

P20A2 = boost only circuit.
P20C2 = buck only circuit.

Makes sense, thank you...
