I am trying to look for a good 2AA light that does not use PWM (pulse width modulation) for brightness control? Any recommendation?

A 2AA tube is available for the LiteFlux LF3XT. It does use PWM, but at a frequency impossible to detect.

High frequency PWM only addresses one of the drawbacks of PWM (disturbing visual effects).

It doesn't do anything about the other drawback (terrible efficiency). An LED driven at greatly reduced DC current is FAR more efficient than one operated at high current, whether that high current is DC or chopped (PWM).

True, however PWM tends to decrease the effects of tint shift when compared to CC.

To the OP, sorry I don't know of any AA based light that does not use PWM for the different levels.
