As I was watching the news coverage though my cable did go out for a minute and I thought perhaps the power HAD gone out. Couldn't tell if the TV itself had gone off, and it was in the middle of the afternoon so no other lights were on...

Turns out not, oh well. I did carry an extra flashlight or 2 with me the rest of the evening!
