Black Pelican M6 clickie doesn\'t work right?

I think someone has solved this problem, but I can't find it.

I won the battle to disassemble the original switch assembly of two black PM6s, but the FlashlightLens clickie won't work in either one of them. (I had no problem with the silver one - works perfectly.)

I think I am supposed to sand the black finish somehow, but where exactly do I sand?

Thanks,

Chuck

File the rear lip on the battery tube.

Chuck,

I mean the back edge that will jam against the Kroll bushing when tightened. This will provide a ground path from Kroll bushing direct to the battery tube and you won't be relying on a path through the threads.
