Measure at 5m and multiply that by 25 to get 1m readings.
AEMC CA813 works great as it is consistant and around $200 bucks.
If you have an XR-E R2 and drive it at 1.4A~2A it will get you about 200~300 OTF (depending on vF). Put a Deep Rebel reflector and it will give a Aspherical Mag a good run for its money maybe even beat it.
