I was planning on running my 12v Light with a 12V battery pack but I found really good deal on some 9.6V packs at a local company.

I know I can erbuild the batteries to 12v easily but would rather just run them as is.

The light is a low voltage LED set to run on 12v and be around 1watt

the battery pack is 9.6v 1Ah pack.

I'm hoping the pack will last 1-1.5hrs on a full charge.

My other option is running two of these packs at 19.2v

The ease of recharging is my concern.

Third option is using a 12v Cordless drill battery, that has a decent charger with it.

any information would be appreciated.
