I am needing some 3 aa to d adapters for an ROP build. Does anyone still sell these that are in series? Also can someone tell me where to find the nice machined adapters that are sold on CPF Marketplace I cannot find them on there. I would prefer to start with the cheaper adapters but cannot find them on DX or Kaidomain. Thanks

kd adapters are only good for up to 1 amp, even rop low is about 2 amps, you will loose voltage due to crappy adapter iternal resistance.

from kd site

This 3AA->1D adapter is only suitable for low current consumption(0~1000mA) applications. Using it in a high current application may experience high internal resistance!
they should've said: you will definitely experience high internal resistance!

look here

now let me ask you this, why do you need 3aa to1d?? rop needs 6 cells you need 6aa to 2d.

As alpg88 says, don't you want 6 x AA for ROP?

Those cheap KD/DX adapters are only good for low current apps as stated.
You don't want to combine mutiple adapters even if using good quality ones.

quote from fivemega: "Please do not use two of these adapters in same flashlight for higher voltage. "

So for 6AA:

6AA to 2D $37 (NOT AVAILABLE)=(NO MORE LEFT)=GOOD BY

mdocod

6AA > 2D ~7.2V, for flat top or button top cells
15 Available
$35.00 each

I have early mdocod adapters and I think they are very good. His more recent adapters look even better.
