I just received an almost brand new (looks like it wasn't used much if at all) Surefire A2L-RD from an ebay seller. Now to the issue...
When I push the tailcap button lightly, both the main LED and the secondary red LEDs turn on. When I push the button fully, then again both the main white LED and secondary red LEDs turn on but on a higher output level. The switch does seem a little flakey maybe - a little flickering due to a contact issue maybe?
I thought when the button was half pressed, only the secondary colored LEDs were to light and the main white LED kicked in only on a full press. Am I wrong on how this model is supposed to work? What could be the problem - a defective tailcap/switch? Is there anything I can do on my own or should I call Surefire?
