I have one of the newer E2's and it has a LOTC but not a Pyrex lens.

I believe there were a small number of E1/E2's that shipped with a Pyrex Lens. The new E(x)e-SG's have the old style teardrop bezel, but a Pyrex Lens.

I highly doubt this too, I've replaced my E1 Lexan lens before and it requires a vise to press it in. Pyrex will never stand a chance. I've tried it with a glass lens too with no success, lets just say it turned back to it's orginal from...dust! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Then again, maybe SF did figure out a way to press in a Pyrex. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

The Pyrex lens is not pressed in place. The bezel was modified slightly and it screws together somehow (I think). I will have to look at my E2e-SG (once I find it).
