I have been using my MagCharger with the phillips bulb for some time now and have been more than impressed, but the day I decided I would go this route and dremelled some of the precious aluminum reflector i fear I dremmeled out too much... I do not have any sort of a tight beam, maybe covering 2-3ft on a wall 20ft away, I want a tighter throw with this much power! Where can I get a new reflector and exactly how much should I dremel?
Also, in talks about power, I simply cut the reflector and dropped the phillips in untill they die then replace, it is not too often, about 1.5yrs now on this setup thru 3 bulbs. I believe it is time to replace the stock rechargeable battery it came with. Are there many choices for me and which one would be best to power the 5761 as long as possible and as safely as possible? Would I be able to charge the M@g on the stock charging unit or would I have to charge the new batt on a separate charger? Thanks for looking, any input would be great!
