Hey guys
Anyone here have both an LX2 and a regular E-series and/or SF A2 to compare?
Basically, I need to know which, if any, of these will fit:

Given that the LX2 is an E-series light it stands to reason that the E-extension might be compatible. But I've also heard it said that only the head is E-compatible and that the tailcap is merely an A2 tailcap with an aesthetic update, in which case the A2 extension might fit. Then again, they might have changed the design such that it won't be compatible with either.
The component that is switched out when mounting these extensions is the plastic retainer ring around the rubber switch boot. If anyone with both an LX2 and an E or A2 would actually bother taking them out to compare.. Well you'd get better karma.
Not sure what I can offer. Internet hug? :kiss: Anyway I'd really appreciate it if anyone knew.
