I just received my new D11 today, and noticed that there is what looks like a charred spot on the side of the LED. There's also a bit of fog on the inside of the window. I didn't notice it until after I'd played with it a bit, but I've only run it for about 5 minutes continuously, and the body didn't get hot in that time.
What's strange is, it almost looks like a part of the LED overheated, but the color seems normal when it's on, there's just a faint dark spot to one side of the hotspot. Could this have been caused by overheating of the LED, or is this likely a manufacturing defect, like someone hit the lens with a soldering iron?
Emitter pic:
More differenter angle:
Light on low to show lens fogging (looks much worse in the pic, but it's definitely there):
Any help is appreciated!
