Greetings to all on CPF.
I discovered 'CPF' after researching online for a replacement EDC torch to replace my aged Terralux equipped Mini Maglite which my 3 year old son has unhelpfully hidden somewhere in the house...or garden.
My knowledge of torches (or flashlights to those across the pond) is based on extensive use of Petzl headtorches (Zoom, Mini, Tikka and Tikka Plus 2). I also own a Pelican Laser Pro 4D which I keep in the boot of my car.
After much reading of CPF posts I've ordered a Zebralight SC50W+ which was shipped today! I'm now also considering a ZL H501W to replace the supplement, or replace the Tikka XP.
AS a keen cyclist, I'm also interested in upgrading my Schmidt E6 headlamp for a newer LED Schmidt Edelux, which apppears to possess at least twice as much light and have a broader beam.
