So, a new girl started on our shift, and it wasnt long before someone told her she should come to me for torch advice. She said that she already had one, and I answered with my usual not like this you havent. After pulling out my 6p w/ Dereelight R2 and showing her my awesome throw, I demonstrated an ultrefire R2 that Id put together for a mate for just £40 (which is a bit brighter than my dereelight ironically).
She pulled out this:

So the obvious question now is, why have I spent over a hundred quid (and the rest) playing around with my 6P host, upgrading, trying different configs, when someone can just buy an off-the-shelf for £30 that puts me to shame?
And more to the point, what can I now upgrade my 6P to in order to show my mates that I have some self-respect left??
