I couldn't find an existing thread on this, so I thought I'd start one up.

I found this on the goingear youtube channel:

Very interesting, you can customise your own settings. I've heard of similar lights being developed, but nothing that has come to the market.

Here's their website, the flash is a bit slow to load for me:

I want to bring this thread back up to the front because I just received a Nextorch MyTorch 18650 for review. At first blush, this one already looks like a game changer here. A completely user customizable/programmable light for a very reasonable price? I am impressed with it already. I've only just barely started to play with it, so I can't say much yet, but I'm going to give it a thorough going over for my review.

wow, I did not know they had xpe-R3 available. I'm surprised there isn't more talk about this light, people are always complaining about how many modes a light should have, how bright the modes should be, etc.

The low PWM puts me off though.

Yeah, that's one of the biggest frustrations I have with it, though in actual use, its not super noticeable. I wonder if they could do a firmware update through the data port to speed it up some.

The one thing I don't like is the chrome ring around the bezel... it's cheap chrome plated plastic, otherwise, it's a fun light to play with.
