I have a Brinkman incandescent flashlight that I was given a few years ago for Christmas. I believe it is a Maxfire LX (there are no markings to indicate the model, but it looks the same as the Maxfire LX pictures I've seen online). According to http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...=186661page=1, the Maxfire LX is a P60 host so I should be able to buy an LED drop-in for it. Since I'm a complete novice, a couple of questions:
1) Anybody know how to verify that what I have is actually a Maxfire LX/P60 host?
2) What LED drop-ins would you recommend for that host? Can I buy an XM-L drop in like this one http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDeta...roductId=11106, or one from Nailbender? What factors do I need to consider when selecting a drop in?
