Hi again everyone. I am so disappointed. I just got my Thrunite Catapult V2 and the damn thing is faulty. I have bought 2 x 18650 protected Redilast batteries and I checked them personally on the mulitmeter-3.6v. So they are fully charged.
When I slotted them in the Cat V2, with the +ve ends facing the actual led, nothing happens. Clicking on and off and turning the bezel does nothing. But here's the funny thing. When I took off the tube extender and just tried a single 18650, it works! But extremely dimly. Turning the bezel does nothing and does not adjust the brightness in any way, but the rear clicky switch works, albeit as I say, very dimly. As soon as you screw the extension tube back on and put in both batteries-nothing again. Not even a dim light.
I am going to contact the seller, but in the meantime, does anyone have a clue why putting in a single 18650 battery allows it to weakly work, but putting in both does nothing?
Thanks.
