I just bought into the Tek4 tools, mainly for the inspection camera, and it's a pretty cool system. Found this sitting on the display last week, just in, my local store was only shipped two. It claims a 5W emitter, 220 lumens, from a 4V Li-On battery.

I think that for 50 bucks, it could have a couple of modes, and maybe a glass lens rather than plastic, but it is impressively bright, at least. If nothing else, it has a cool looking heatsink. I'll leave beamshots etc. to someone better equipped than myself.

If you haven't picked one up, they're $22 now, with a AAA adapter as a fallback option.

Since those cost about $7 separately… Well, I did the math, and it's worth it. Quite a thrower, by the way.
