I purchased this light from BriteLumens a short while back. Please see the original thread for details on the finish and more pictures here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?238938-FS-Custom-14W-HID-Ellie-in-HA-III.

This light includes:

  • Custom HAIII body and head. The real color has a bit more of a bronze hue than the pictures show.
  • Single level fully regulated Solarc NGX ballast and un-domed bulb.
  • 4x18650 FM battery holder.
  • 4x AW black 2600mAh protected cell. Three nubs on (-) end dremeled down to allow perfect fit in holder.
  • Fully regulated runtime of this light exceeds 2:45 hrs.
  • BONUS - New Extra Ushio Undomed HID bulb now included
The throw on this light is intense for a 1000 lumen output. Barely any heat when running because of the low power draw and high efficiency.

I paid $580 for this light with no batteries included. I am including 4x18650s with a value themselves of at least $80.

First posted "I'll take it" gets it. PayPal purchase only. I eat fees. Priority CONUS shipping with a DC -OR- Int'l first class shipping included. Other shipping options can be arranged at your cost - please PM me.

I am asking a very fair, must sell, $500 Now $475 (SOLD).

The quality of the HA is really nice. I've never seen a mag reflector quite like it - is very SMO right at the bottom but fades into a LOP and then into a MOP as it gets towards the outer edge. The SMO part gives great throw and the OP give a really smooth beam.

One thing I really like about the HID in an adjustable head Mag is that it doesn't have to just be throw - it can easily turn into a super bright near full flood light with just a twist of the head.

I can try and take some tonight, but not very easy where I live as a lot of houses around me and this thing is really bright.

Haven't had a chance to take any beamshots, maybe this weekend. This light has huge throw for it's size, runtime and minimal heat level. It easily has twice the throw of my TK35 if not more.

Bump........ :)

Got Lumens - you're a tough sell ;) Working on beamshots right now as it just got dark. I'll do a manual setting exposure and compare my TK35 modded with a T4 E5 neutral XML against the HID. Give me an hour or so and they'll be posted.

Beamshots.... :) Taken at dusk, not quite fully dark. ISO 200, f4.8, 2sec exposure for all shots. The two evergreens up close are about 25-30 feet out. The far trees at the end of the condos measure out to 175 yards using Google Earth
