Best cheap light to cannibalize for a reflector....

I'm looking for a nice big reflector, and I've been to the store a few (ha) times looking for something that I can steal one out of. I'm going for maximum throw.

I'm looking for the 5" plus range, maybe up to 8" if it's really that much better than something a little smaller.

I hate the idea of buying light after light just to find the right one.

FWIW, I'm going to be mounting it in an SST-90 searchlight, and aluminum would be better for heat resistance, but plastic might do, I'd just have to insulate it from the led to keep it from melting, I'm planning on pushing this thing at 9+ amps.

overkill is fun? They dont look that deep though, which is disappointing.

Good idea, but I admit that web site confuses me to no end. I'll have to take another look and see if I can get somewhere this time.

WOW. That's cool, and they're aluminum. I'm starting to think maybe bigger is better.

BTW, I will definitely be doing a write up on this build when it's done, and I have no idea when that will be, but thanks to everyone on this thread and the others I've posted for all of your help.
