XM-L Cree & 3x 26650 IMR Runtime information please.

Hi,

What would the runtime be on HIgh Mode if i used a Cree X-ML LED and 3x 4000mAh IMR protected batteries regulated by this driver http://www.lck-led.com/p501/Constan...3-Modes,5.5-12v,3.0A,P7,MCE/product_info.html

Hi ljw,

On paper, with nice new cells... about 4Hrs runtime! Loads of light, for a long time!

(Vf*I)/eff = (3.2*2.8)/0.8 = 11.2

Vbat*Ah =11.1*4 = 44.4

44/11 = 4

Hi i was deciding to do another X-ML in a new 3D led Maglite Deep rebel reflector or have a go at a sst-90 Luminus SSR-90 LED Star - White, 2250LM Max. 9A @ 3.87v, WN-DF [SSR-90]
