Can the current Surefire U2 Ultra be bored for 18650 batteries ?

Hi,

Can the current production SF U2 Ultra be modified/bored to take 18650 ? How thin the walls will be at that point ?
Has anybody done it ?

I've only handled one and I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here and say yes... The body tube seemed very comparable to a 6P...
