Up for grabs is one of my favorites. It consists of a FM 26500 body, Surefire KT2 Turbo head and custom built tower. Tower specs are below. It has a nice neutral tint and if you have ever used a turbo head you know the wonderful spill with nice hot spot these reproduce. The body has a couple little blems but nothing major. The head was bought used and looks like it took a minor drop. I tried to capture it with the pictures below.
Tower Specs.
Built by Justin Case. (He was Super informative and does very clean work. A++ guy)
Neutral tint T5 flux bin XM-L
Tail current draw is about 1.63A, a little less than the nominal 1.75A I would have expected from 5x7135. The driver stays in full regulation down to about 3.3V when tested on my bench supply. Based on the discharge graph for an 18650 or similar cell, it looks to me that you should stay in regulation for about 90% of the run time of the cell. Even at 3.2V, you are getting about 1.5A drive current.
The tower ran stably for an hour at 3.8V input from my bench supply, with the tower inserted into a KT1/2 TH. I tested the multimode functionality. It cycles through the 3 modes upon power cycling. If you leave the light in a mode for about a two count, then it remembers that mode the next time.
SOLD - Asking $140 for the turbo head and the tower (sorry not going to sell the tower seperate)
Or$180 for the whole setup. For $15 more Ill throw in two 26500 imr AW batterys. Ive charged them 3 times.
Thanks
