Luxeon A tested at Junction temp 85deg C

Hi to all,

Trying to locate a European source for Luxeon Rebel LXH8-PW30, to avoid customs and expensive shipping from Us or Asia. Anyone ?

Hi there.

I want to put 3 Rebels ontop a round heat sink around a 16mm camera lens (ring light). This custom copper/aluminum heatsink will be withiin a closed device, therefore I think that I must open some ventilation areas and maybe include a fan. Thinking of Sunon mighty fan - very small footprint...

Anyone that has delt with similar heat dissipation issues?

Thanks in advance

Timo

surface area is your friend. good ways to increase your heatsink's surface area is fins, pins, anodizing. You have the right idea about moving air. however, you may want to make sure that the fan's vibrations don't interfere with the quality of the final photograph.
